I think you're right but the difference I see if the abilities. Florges seems to be built for doubles since both it's abilities support partners while Sylveon has both a defensive and an offensive ability so a player decides what role it takes.

The plus being running a different mega on your team?

Is there really any benefit to that over Heracrosscite though? AV means it can't SD or Bulk Up and gives it no form of recover. A mega stone has the advantage of boosting both defenses and unrestricted access to the movepool.

Soooo does Flying Press really even matter? There might be something I'm not seeing here but Hi Jump Kick and Acrobatics seem for have better coverage separately

A Sucker Punch set would be pretty good to go against Gengar and could be a good check to Scarf Gengar since it can only really hit Doom with Focus Blast

Why not replace Milotic with a Gastrodon? A standard bold defensive set with leftovers makes for physical bulk and even has the chance to power up if you make a switch into a water move meant for Heatran or Lando. It doesn't have haze BUT it does get clear smog if you're looking to stop set up...
