  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

stealing an idea from Lasen and going into some detail about some matches im most excited for this week:

BW CAP: tier vs TGA

Don't let anyone hear me admit this out loud but I really enjoy watching BWCAP; tier feels v wild west-y as someone who's not super involved or knowledgeable outside of clicking buttons with Necturna/Volc/Cloyster. TGA was a CAPPL-champion backbone for the Venoms last year (thanks for that again by the way) and looks to be keeping that up, and Tier not only looked really impressive in W1 but also loaded a Celebi, which automatically puts someone at like at least a 6/10 in terms of how much I wanna root for them. Really looking forward to this one, expect it to be really close and for both to have really solid builds.

DPP CAP: Binacle Pinnacle vs Concept Everything

I don't know literately anything about DPP, so fair warning there, but this stands out as a highlight narratively. Binpin is coming off a massive upset against Steam Buns and is continuing to talk about rotting so it's clear he's in peak form- and it's nice to see him playing in one of these tours, in a tier he's helped champion and grow no less. The idea of 2-0 Binpin is both exciting and terrifying, mostly because I don't think anyone's prepared for how much more LARPing he can do if he pulls it off.

SV CAP: Piyush25 vs Darek

One of the highlight matches of the whole tour, SV wise, for me. Both these guys have been VERY good in SV, and I really liked both of their W1 teams. Darek has consistently gotten better over the course of the gen and he's crazy difficult to prep vs as well, this will be a huge indication of how explosive of a season he's primed to have. Piyush has also only gotten more and more solid and prevalent across the site (note that pretty green trophy), and I think its still pretty epic to see him around CAP. Don't miss this one!!

6) Pannucles of spoocap

pannu is a filthy weaboo and spoo literally has "poo" in his username. This is an automatic last place for me.

5) Nefarious Nohfaces

The managers drafted binpin. Binpin likes to stink up discord servers with Bowser fart GIFs. Under normal circumstances this would be an easy last place, but I can't bring myself to rank anyone below pannu & spoo, so they get 5th.

4) Brooklyn Blazikens

They smell okay. Not bad but not good either.

3) Shoenice Skwovets

I don't mean to brag, but I smell amazing. Concept Everything smells like shit though, and as a result he drags down our score.

2) Bello Figo Bellsprouts

Italian people tend to smell fairly nice, so they get a fairly modest ranking from me as a result.

1) Deep Fried Finneons

As someone from the area of the States known for Seafood, I can tell you that good Seafood smells amazing, and they offer it aplenty.
