Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
I can't decide a team for Gold, and I haven't done a scramble in ages so
Game: Gold
Trading: No
Difficulty: Easy
Extra: I'd like a starter, and no type overlapping. Also should be kinda obvious, but no Pokémon that I have to wait until Kanto to catch.
Team:
I'm feeling kinda bored, so I want to do an easy Crystal scramble. So I'd like a starter, and I can't trade.
Edit: shoot forgot. No overlapping types please. An exception can be made if the two Pokemon don't share weaknesses
I definitely put in the right keypresses. And yes, I'm using the calibrator just to see something since the adjacent seeds tab doesn't have whatever seed I'm hitting.
My Vcount has remained consistent throughout all of my calibrations, so I doubt it's that. I also checked at +/- 30 seconds, though it matched nothing, which I figured since my 3DS has only an 8 second delay when loading the game up. I'm holding B and R on start up and I'm starting 8 seconds...
I'm using PPRNG, and I have used the adjacent seed finder. I mentioned in my post that it didn't show anything +/-10 seconds and +/-2 Timer0s. Everything is inputted the same throughout.
I'm at a bit of a loss. I've been attempting to rng my English White on my 3DS, but even with calibrating I'm getting wildly varying results that aren't even +/- 10 seconds from my seed or +/-2 Timer0s away. Putting the IVs from the latest Virizion I caught into the parameter searcher gives me...
I've used Pokecheck off of my phone without having to mess with anything with the phone's DNS. I doubt that's it. I'm just gonna assume something's blocking it.
Hmm. I keep getting a DNS server error doing it this way, and I know Pokecheck normally works. I guess there's either something I'm missing, or something's blocking it.
Is it possible to connect to Pokecheck using wifi from internet sharing (say using my phone which is connected to the internet sharing wifi, and the 3DS which is also connected), or does it not work?
So I'm not particularly new to RNGing, but I haven't done it in a while, and not on a DSi. For calibration purposes, how do I find out the seconds for it? Do I just ignore it and it'll probably figure it out or what?
Also, would it be recommended to use a timer, or is it easy enough to figure...
Hopefully this won't be an every day thing, but I need someone to check some eggs for me. I have 5IV Mawile, and Noibat and Protean Froakie spitbacks for someone who helps me out.
Looking for someone to check some Pokemon for me. Don't have instacheck so I can't check anything for you, but I have 5IV Mawile, and some pretty good Noibat spitbacks
