Anyone come up with anything interesting for Empoleon? I just found this mode and wanted to try it out.

I'd say the best way to go about things is maximize his use in one of those roles to its fullest extent. He has a monopoly on being able to choose who he traps (and do damage), even if it's only temporary. Make use of that to the fullest extent as to what your team needs.

Are you trying to make a point or just berate people for analyzing the strengths of Decidueye? And ghost/grass isn't a bad defensive typing at all.

Its what alot of us have thought. What we have here is something Empoleon-tier. Okay in OU, much stronger in UU. I'm just glad he turned out to be good all around. I saw the stats and my biggest fear was he would be awful.

I feel like a bruiser build is the best approach at the moment. Something that allows him to survive to burn things, if not burn things do a bit of chunking.

This man gets exactly how decidueye is supposed to function. I once saw a comment that suggested Decidueye is Celebi 2.0. No one uses that onion fairy for damage, but rather utility. Same concept here. If you're using Decidueye to sweep, you're doing it wrong.

Is curse even used at all right now? I've always seen it as literal suicide on any pokemon that is a ghost type.
