Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
My initial thought about this was: "Heck yeah brothers. I'm tired of playing mind games to bait the Z-move out only to see their Dragapult proceeds to do 20 more DD as I switch in and out". But then I actually do the requirements and funny enough, never once I was swept by a DD Dragapult...
Speaking of win-conditions, hazards, pursuit,... and other knickknacks; I want to talk a little bit about Trick Room too.
Trick Room hasn't changed much even after the huge DLC drop. I guess that's just how TR is since its win-con is pretty straight forward: You sneak stuff in, do some stuff...
I think part of the reason why Tangrowth dropped is because of Kyurem-B and U-turn spam from the like of Pheromosa & Genesect. Slowbro suffers from the same problem but it has access to Teleport to keep momentum, while Buzzwole or Tangrowth just kinda sits there. And with the meta is so...
To expand what he said a little bit. Kyurem-B's so-called "perfect bolt/beam coverage" is actually not perfect at all. Sometimes that lazy bastard decides to throw only 2 spears and then call it a day, which can be a different between winning or losing games. 100 BP Fusion Bolt sounds powerful...
Hi! I want to report a Urshifu bug: Its sprite doesn't fade after being KOed.
As you can see, Urshifu fainted. Incineroar switches in but Urshifu's sprite still doesn't fade.
When hovering over its sprite, the game mistakes it as a possible Zoroark's illusion.
The bug persists till the end...
We finally have a decent physical flying move that doesn't hurt like hell or take 2 turns to hit. Now it hits 2 turns instead.
A shame that Gyarados doesn't get it, and it seems like Lando-T won't either (damn it GF why??).
Maybe Talonflame can make some use out of it? Since now gale wings won't...
Speaking of poison, I feel like my preference has been shifting toward the normal pure poison Weezing form. Sure, dragon immunity is nice but the additional weakness to steel kinda hurts its ability to tank. And poison team has many problems facing steel team already.
The other draw back about...
I couldn't agree more. So let's be on with it:
I know this sounds like a dumb meme set. But its ability to surprise and trap your opponent's key wall, along with Dracovish's natural decent bulk, is dumbly rewarding. Though 4-5 turns of trapping may not guarantee a KO, but it will guarantee to...
Ahh no. Not really. Though I agree (to some extend) that Metagross does have quite a few problems. That replay doesn't prove anything. Your opponent practically lost the game at turn 4 when he sacked Heatran (probably the only real Metagross check in his team) for no real good reason. Skarmory...
