  1. battle etiquette

I quit battles when I know I can't win, and don't mind people doing it to me either. I think what's important is at least saying something, maybe "gg, u win", not just leaving randomly. I play for the tactical fun, not for watching all my opponent's pokemon drop to 0%.
  2. Clauses

Without sleep clause, baton-passing some speed to anything with a reasonably accurate sleep move will be quite hard to take out.
  3. Blissey substitutes....

Hah, I got no problems, because I just start every single team with my Blissey counter. Gets tedious and annoying, but I do what I gotta do. Meanwhile.... the other stuff you mentioned are so specific :/ So I can use the 4th most overused pokemon in the metagame, because I'm obviously fine with...
  4. Blissey substitutes....

Blissey can throw a thunder-wave on any non-ground and get away. And hey what in the world, you mean since there's not many other viable clerics, if I don't have a Blissey of my own I can't heal the paralysis? *sigh* Dugtrio is interesting, but I find him more of a liability on my teams...
  5. is this combo accepted

Seems to refer to a Ninjask, as of 6:53 my time. And yes, it is an allowed moveset.
  6. Blissey substitutes....

It's great for something that is supposedly crumbles to any physical offense, as some people seem to believe.
  7. Blissey substitutes....

The best substitute for Blissey is Chansey. :) And while refusing to use Blissey does sometimes feel like an automatic disadvantage, it's a challenge I enjoy. And Jumpluff :D But really, I remember in RSE Blissey and Celebi were practically the only viable clerics, and that was quite...
  8. Whats your FIRST favorite pokemon?

    Flygon. Reeks of coolness
  9. The strategy of Team Building

I agree whole-heartedly. The team should be just that: a team working toward a common goal, not 6 "good" pokemon slapped together because of their individual uses. On my own team, Ludicolo and Flygon, the "BL" tier members of my team, actually do the most damage on average. Just goes to show...
  10. Gliscor MS question

I think this would be much better in a Rate-My-Team with the other 5 Pokemon shown.
  11. Is there such thing as a good hail team?

That seems to be the key. If they use 6 ice types, like most teams I've seen, I'll walk over them and their defensive typing woes. But just yesterday, someone that understood to mix other types in outplayed me.
  12. Hornier than Heracross - Pinsir Discussion

Armaldo does have a Stealth Rock weakness. Looking at Pinsir's stuff, I'd say the only thing I want to try out is Guillotine on Machamp :)
  13. What makes a good team?

At the end, it boils down to: 1.) Pick your favorite Pokemon, or some moveset that you thought was cool. Tell yourself, I'M GOING TO WIN WITH THIS 2.) Find out what can stop this Pokemon from rampaging (or if not a sweeper, whatever plugs the strategy). Pack counters for those. 3.) With...
  14. What makes a good team?

The plan is very important, but it shouldn't require all 6 slots. Use the remaining slots to deal with whatever your team is particularly weak to, be it Garchomp or Gyarados. Trying to counter everything in existence will result in having an offensively challenged team that fails as soon as...
  15. Mean Look + U-Turn

You could use it if you really really want to have a certain match-up that's easy to set-up on or whatever.
