NFE Drilbur (QC 2/2) (GP 1/1) DONE

name: Entry Hazard Lead
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Rapid Spin
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: Toxic
item: Focus Sash
ability: Mold Breaker
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
The combination of Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin with Mold Breaker allows Drilbur to set up Stealth Rock against Hattrem, the tier's premier Magic Bounce user. Focus Sash allows Drilbur to take a hit against faster foes and guarantee that Stealth Rock goes up before it faints. Toxic hits bulky Pokemon like Vullaby and Wartortle, as well as Ghost-types like Galarian Corsola that may attempt to spinblock against Drilbur; Galarian Corsola can also set up Stealth Rock itself after switching in.

Drilbur pairs well with dual screens setters such as Electabuzz and Morgrem, as it can lead on hyper offense teams and set up Stealth Rock. Electabuzz, in particular, is able to set up screens and threaten the Vullaby or Wartortle that may want to remove Stealth Rock. Setup sweepers that appreciate support from screens such as Shell Smash Wartortle, Swords Dance Thwackey, and Bulk Up Raboot are good partners. Sticky Web hyper offense teams can also use Drilbur as their main lead. In these teams, both Charjabug and Cutiefly can set up Sticky Web. Moreover, naturally slow but bulky and offensively potent Pokemon like Machoke, Choice Band Piloswine, and Choice Specs Lampent can adequately take advantage of Sticky Web. Overall, hyper offensive teams built around Grassy Terrain can also benefit from Drilbur. Thwackey can set up the Grassy Terrain and then Pokemon such as Bulk Up Raboot, Swirlix, Woobat, and Thwackey itself can take advantage of it with Grassy Seed, boosting their defenses and Acrobatics damage in the case of both Raboot and Thwackey. Nonetheless, Drilbur has some issues in trying to get Stealth Rock up against fast Taunt users such as Electabuzz, Galarian Linoone, and Thwackey, with Electabuzz and Galarian Linoone switching out afterwards and Thwackey threatening it. Wartortle is the perfect counter to Drilbur, as it can deny Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin and break Focus Sash. Piloswine and Thwackey can also limit Drilbur's utility with their respective STAB attacks, though they need first to break Focus Sash. Pokemon such as Electabuzz can switch in against Wartortle and gain momentum. Shell Smash Wartortle and Bulk Up Raboot can also take advantage of Piloswine and Thwackey, respectively, using them as setup fodder.

The combination of Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin with Mold Breaker leads Drilbur to have a small niche on hyper offense teams. Drilbur can be used as a suicide lead in this type of archetype to set up Stealth Rock and then Rapid Spin the entry hazards incoming from the opponent. Its ability Mold Breaker allows it to set up Stealth Rock in front of Magic Bounce users such as Hattrem. Even though it has a decent Speed tier, Focus Sash allows it to take a hit and secure Stealth Rock before fainting. Toxic is useful against Vullaby which is the main Defog user in the metagame and it is immune to Earthquake, and Wartortle which does not get take a ton of damage from Earthquake too. Toxic is also useful against Ghost-type Pokemon such as Galarian Corsola which can set up Stealth Rock and avoid Drilbur's Rapid Spin while not taking a lot of much damage from Earthquake.

As it is said previously, suicide lead Drilbur is used in hyper offensive teams. The typical structure would be around screens. Drilbur pairs well with dual screens Pokemon such as Electabuzz and Morgrem. Electabuzz can be a good teammate as it in particular is able to set up screens in the incoming Vullaby or Wartortle which might try to remove the Stealth Rock. Pokemon that can boost under Set up sweepers that appreciate support from screens such as Wartortle, Thwackey, and Raboot are good partners. Hyper offense teams around Sticky Webs can also use Drilbur as their main lead. In these teams, both Charjabug and Cutiefly can be good partners to set up Sticky Webs. Moreover, Pokemon that are naturally slow but with decent bulk and offensive stats are good Sticky Webs abusers such as Machoke, Choice Band Piloswine, and Choice Specs Lampent.

- i would also mention swirlix paired with thwackey due to unburden
- are there any fast taunt users that can prevent drilbur from getting up rocks? what about how piloswine/thwackey limit drilbur's utility as it can be easily 2hkod (which should be mentioned as to why u use sash)
- u could maybe be more specific with the sets of the partners you use, it isn't that helpful to just say "drilbur is good with wartortle and thwackey and raboot" shell smash wartortle? sd or CB thwackey? what about taunt thwack to keep rocks up? bulk up raboot or just boots? what pokemon do those three synergize with as well that you may want to pair with?

Nice work in summarizing Drilbur! Like I said in previous checks, try to summarize the Pokemon without going too much in depth. In a couple other statements, try to specify what these users (example: Taunt users like Electabuzz and Galarian Linoone stop Drilbur from...) do in stopping Drilbur.

Keep it up!

The combination of Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin with Mold Breaker leads Drilbur to have a small niche on hyper offense teams allows Drilbur to set up Stealth Rock against Hattrem, the tier's premier Magic Bounce user. Hattrem is the only viable Magic Bounce user, as Natu gets no use Drilbur can be used as a lead in this type of archetype to set up Stealth Rock and then Rapid Spin the entry hazards incoming from the opponent. Would remove, the info is great but it fits better on the second paragraph Its ability Mold Breaker allows it to set up Stealth Rock in front of Magic Bounce users such as Hattrem. Focus Sash allows it to take a hit and secure Stealth Rock before fainting. Would reword to say how Drilbur can take a hit against faster foes and be guaranteed to set up Stealth Rock. Toxic is useful against Vullaby and Wartortle which does not take a ton of damage from Earthquake. Toxic is also useful against Ghost-type Pokemon such as Galarian Corsola which can set up Stealth Rock and avoid Drilbur's Rapid Spin while not taking much damage from Earthquake. If possible, merge the two sentences?

Drilbur pairs well with dual screens Pokemon such as Electabuzz and Morgrem. Include detail for Drilbur's role in the lead slot Electabuzz in particular is able to set up screens in the incoming Vullaby or Wartortle which might try to remove the Stealth Rock. Set up sweepers that appreciate support from screens such as Shell Smash Wartortle, Swords Dance Thwackey, and Work Up Do you mean Bulk Up? Work Up Raboot isn't really a viable set Raboot are good partners. Overall, hyper offensive teams around Grassy Terrain can also benefit from Drilbur. Thwackey can set up the Grassy Terrain and then Pokemon such as Work Up see above Raboot, Unburden Swirlix always goes with Unburden Swirlix, Simple Woobat always goes with Simple Woobat, and Thwackey itself can abuse it with Grassy Seed boosting their defenses and Acrobatics damage in both Raboot and Thwackey. Nonetheless, Drilbur has some issues tring to get rocks up against fast Taunt users such as Electavuzz Electabuzz, Galarian Linoone, and Thwackey as the they can stop it elaborate, what are these Taunt users trying to stop Drilbur for?, even though the former needs to be wary of Earthquake. Wartortle is the perfect counter to Drilbur as it can deny Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin, boosting its Speed, not really needed and breaking the Focus Sash. Piloswine and Thwackey can also limit Drilbur's utility with their respective STABs even though they need first to break Focus Sash. Add Pokemon like A, B, and C that can deal with them.

The combination of Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin with Mold Breaker allows Drilbur to set up Stealth Rock against Hattrem, the tier's premier Magic Bounce user. Its ability Mold Breaker allows it to set up Stealth Rock in front of Magic Bounce users such as Hattrem. (this seems majorly repetitive) Focus Sash allows Drilbur it to take a hit against faster foes and guarantee that Stealth Rock goes up before it faints. but still guarantee the set up of Stealth Rock before fainting. Toxic hits bulky Pokemon like Vullaby and Wartortle, as well as Ghost-types like Galarian Corsola that may attempt to spinblock against Drilbur; Galarian Corsola can also set up Stealth Rock itself after switching in. Toxic is useful against bulky Pokemon that do not take much damage from Earthquake such as Vullaby or Wartortle, but also against Ghost-type Pokemon such as Galarian Corsola which can set up Stealth Rock and avoid Drilbur's Rapid Spin while also not taking much damage from Earthquake.
