Overview

Unlike other -ate users, Kyurem-W does not rely on priority. While it is weak to them because of its poor defensive stats, it has the potential to fire off strong attacks with its monsterous base 170 Special Attack stat. In addition, Kyurem-W’s unique typing allows it to purge through walls such as Zygarde-C, defensive Primal Groudon variants, Giratina, and Fur Coat users that do not resist its STAB moves.

In addition, Kyurem-W's STAB combination is only resisted by Steel-types, and this gives it a niche due to its capability to purge through defensively oriented teams. It's somewhat easy to prepare a wall for Imposter by carefully choosing coverage moves.

However, weakness to entry hazards usually limit the times Kyurem-W can switch in. Kyurem-W's typing does not provide much resistances and its defensive stats are not impressive. Therefore, it is easily revenge killed or forced out. In addition, Kyurem-W is forced to equip Choice Items to fulfill its role: Choice Scarf is needed to outspeed many threats such as all Mewtwo variants with its mediocre base 95 Speed, and Choice Specs is required to net guaranteed OHKOs against Assault Vest Zygarde-C, Giratina, and Primal Groudon.

New Version:

* Kyurem-W is the strongest Refrigerate user, boasting high 170 Special Attack which is able to pressure common walls in the metagame such as Giratina, Zygarde-C, and Mega Audino.
* Water-types, which tend to switch into Kyurem-W's attacks, are less problematic by carrying Volt Switch which hits them supereffectively while lets Kyurem-W pivot at the same time.
* Due to it being the second strongest Core Enforcer user followed by Mega Rayquaza, Kyurem-W is able to pressure teams without Fairy-types and wear down RegenVest users.
* Kyurem-W needs variety of coverage moves to get past its checks: Volt Switch for Mega Gyarados, Magma Storm for Steel-types and Shedinja, and Secret Sword to simultaneously hit Mega Gyarados and Chansey.
* Speed tier of 95, while outspeeding key threats such as Primal Kyogre, Zekrom, and Dialga, is slower than common threats including Mega Diancie, and both Mega's of Mewtwo.
* Respectable bulk of 125 / 90 / 100 along with resistance to Water-type moves lets Kyurem-W be an emergency check to Primal Kyogre. However, Stealth Rock weakness ends up limiting the number of times Kyurem-W can switch in, and not many offensive teams are able to afford dedicated hazard removal.
* Achieving 2HKOes on threats like Solgaleo, Mega Gyarados, and its own Imposter is not possible without equipping Choice Specs, and Choice Scarf is needed for Kyurem-W to outspeed aforementioned offensive threats. Because Kyurem-W is unable to choose both options, it will struggle against playstyle that it does not aim to overcome.
* Kyurem-W faces heavy competition as a wallbreaker with -ate ability with Mega Rayquaza and Mega Diancie, and it needs somewhat heavy team support to function.

New Version:

* Kyurem-W is the strongest Refrigerate user, boasting high 170 Special Attack which is able to pressure common walls in the metagame such as Giratina, Zygarde-C, and Mega Audino.
* Due to its excellent ability to force switches against aforementioned threats and lure Steel-types, it can choose to pivot against them for momentum.that is not really a specific quality attributed to kyuW as much as just smt most offensive mons can do, if anything you could sa that one of the most common ice resist—water—is hit super effectively by volt switch which means kyuW can carry coverage and pivot on the same slot
* Kyurem-W appreciates the introduction of Zygarde-C because its dual STAB moves menacingly threaten it, allowing it to fit in teams that need dedicated checks for Zygarde-C or other physically defensive threats.yeah you already said it beats common walls like zygarde and you should avoiding mentionning specific meta changes in general so just remove that point
*stab cover enforcer is coolio

* Unfortunately the number of moveslots available is just insufficient for Kyurem-W; it will always be unable to hit prominent Pokemon no matter what three attacks it chooses to run as coverage options. Not running Volt Switch will make Mega Gyarados impossible to hit while not being able to pivot, forgoing Secret Sword will also give Kyurem-W hard time to hit Mega Gyarados and Chansey, Kyurem-W will struggle with RegenVest Solgaleo or Primal Kyogre if Switcheroo or Core Enforcer are not opted for, forgoing Blue Flare or Earth Power makes the likes of Registeel and Aegislash insurmountable, and Moongeist Beam is needed to hit Sturdy Shedinja.

yeah that part specifically is the one that sounds depressed and would probably drive anyone away from using that mon. It kinda just sounds like you're saying "it's shit, don use"
a more objective/unbiased way to put it would be to say that due to ice being resisted by water on top of steel, kyurem—unlike other ate mons—will require multiple different coverage options to hit its different checks and counters. Which means that kuyrem is quite often pressed for moveslot.
This also seems quite exaggerated, boomburst + core + fire + volt switch allows kyu to deal with the majority of what you posted, core 2hkos non av gyara and beats regenvest on the switch, similar for regenvest don and volt can hit non regenvest, chansey is pressured by specs core + volt with hazard support, solgaleo gets 2hkod by magma storm or blue flare, the only thing left is shed assuming you don't have magma storm, but volt switch + pursuit trap is good against that.

* Kyurem-W is forced out by extremely you don't have to say extremely common threats including Mega Diancie, both Mega's of Mewtwo, and, depending on what coverages were chosen, Primal Kyogre.you should make a more general point about kyuW's speed tier, saying while 95 does give him an edge over all the 90 base, it makes it slower than a lot of offensive threats such as [...] that easily force it out

* Stealth Rock weakness and lack of useful resistances almost end up invalidating Kyurem-W's respectable bulk of 125 / 90 / 100. usually we mention when a mon has notable useful resists, but we don't rag on them for not having them (not to mention how hopelessly negative you're being). Also it resists water and is neutral to ice beam meaning with core it can check kyogre
* Forgoing Choice Specs will leave Kyurem-W unable to OHKO Giratina, 2HKO its own Imposter, Solgaleo, and Registeel. Forgoing Choice Scarf leaves Kyurem-W very vulnerable against offensive teams from which many fast threats will be present. kyuW is very reliant on specs to net the 2hkos it needs on mons like [...] while it is also reliant on scarf to outspeed common offensive mons, meaning that kyuW will always find himself struggling against either playstyle
* Kyurem-W faces heavy competition as a wallbreaker with -ate ability with Mega Rayquaza and Mega Diancie, and it needs somewhat notable team support to function while what it does for team in return usually isn't worth outsides specific occasions.
Y u being so mean :/

Pdon is banned from BH and I will basically copy and paste the whole thing later and revise them, and decide with QC if it needs only minor changes or rewrite.

motherlove has to stop by and QC this again so that's a bummer

KyuW shouldn't be too affected tbh.
It loses one of its main targets of Specs Boomburst but yeh. Removing mentions should be enough.

Gonna update overview, staple that to previous analysis with Pdon mention removed, and send to GP.

Kris are you okay with this

Okay motherlove clarified his corrections are 1/3 so I'm ready for second QC

Edit: Think Kyurem-W doesn't deserve Contrary section beause Mega Rayquaza outclasses it in every way. Kris do you mind if I put Contrary set into Other Options? I can just make a bullet point for you to add
