there's some of "my stuff" in here including transform, idk how the qc team feels about this but you guys can take it out if you see fit.

free transform and charge :<

adaptability zekrom was another option i thought about but left it out because i hadn't tested it. if i were to add it i'm not sure whether to make it its own set or merge with electric surge under the name "wallbreaker"

[OVERVIEW]

* Zekrom has a niche in the Balanced Hackmons metagame as one of the most viable Galvanize users thanks in part to its impressive Attack stat and Electric typing.
* Additionally, its STAB moves grant very good coverage, largely removing the need for secondary coverage moves. Many defensive cores struggle to handle Zekrom thanks to its good offensive typing.
* Useful resistances to strong offensive types like Flying and Water mean that Zekrom has a good matchup against many offensive threats, including Mega Rayquaza and Primal Kyogre.
* However, Zekrom has a mediocre base Special Attack of 120, meaning that its Galvanize Boomburst and Draco Plate Judgment are usable but weak compared to other -ate users.
* Zekrom faces competition from many other wallbreakers, such as Psychic Surge Mega Mewtwo Y, Choice Specs Aerilate Mega Rayquaza, and Mega Diancie due to their similar power levels and superior Speed.
* Although Dragon/Electric is a good offensive typing, it leaves Zekrom weak to common types like Dragon, Ground, and Fairy. Common -ate users including Pixilate Mega Diancie and Refrigerate Kyurem-W can force Zekrom out.
* A mediocre base Speed of 90 leaves Zekrom outsped by many offensive threats, such as Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Rayquaza.

[SET]
name: Galvanize Sweeper
move 1: Shell Smash
move 2: Extreme Speed
move 3: Boomburst
move 4: Judgment
item: Draco Plate
ability: Galvanize
nature: Naive
evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
* Shell Smash sharply boosts Zekrom's Attack, Special Attack, and Speed, turning it into a fearsome sweeper.
* Extreme Speed is useful to revenge kill boosted opponents such as Poison Heal Primal Kyogre and Normalize Mega Gengar. It also serves as a reliable physical STAB move thanks to Galvanize. If Zekrom has set up Shell Smash, it can use Extreme Speed to damage and potentially KO Prankster Haze users like Registeel due to its +2 priority.
* Boomburst helps Zekrom overcome Fur Coat users such as Mega Audino, and is Zekrom's strongest attack overall.
* Judgment in combination with Draco Plate gives Zekrom a strong Dragon-type attack. Since opposing Imposters rarely carry their own Draco Plate, the move makes Zekrom imposter-proof because Judgment is a Normal-type attack for Imposters. Additionally, the move grants Zekrom a super effective attack against the many Dragon-types in the metagame, like Giratina and Zygarde-C.

Set Details
========

* A Naive Naive is used to increase Zekrom's Speed stat, allowing it to move before neutral nature base 90s.
* With the Draco Plate item, Zekrom's Judgment is Dragon-type.
* Icicle Plate can be used instead to OHKO Mega Rayquaza at +0 and Zygarde-C at +2, which Draco Plate cannot accomplish. However, the power difference is noticeable.

Usage Tips
========

* Keep in mind that Zekrom's Extreme Speed is a useful tool to have; for instance, it can easily pick off a weakened Choice Specs Aerilate Mega Rayquaza.
* Core Enforcer is Zekrom's biggest weakness, as not only is Zekrom weak to the move, but its Galvanize ability is also suppressed. Keep Zekrom away from Core Enforcer users.
* Shell Smash can be used to more easily help Zekrom break teams. Without a boost, Zekrom is prediction reliant; however, with a boost, it can outspeed and OHKO threatening foes like Giratina, Mega Mewtwo X, and Kyurem-W.
* When attempting to set up Shell Smash, be wary of foes with Spectral Thief, because they can prevent Zekrom from sweeping and deal lots of damage in return.
* Additionally, make sure threats such as Giratina and Mega Swampert are in range of +2 Judgment before trying to sweep.

Team Options

========

* Fairy-types such as Mega Audino and Mega Diancie can take Core Enforcers aimed at Zekrom and give it free switchins with U-turn or break walls, respectively. In return, Zekrom can switch in on resisted Sunsteel Strikes.
* Knock Off support on Pokemon like Mega Mewtwo Y can be useful to remove opposing Assault Vests, allowing Zekrom to hit the holders harder.
* Imposter Chansey can scout for threatening moves on opposing Pokemon, like Will-O-Wisp.
* Pokemon that can lure in and KO checks to Zekrom make good teammates. Mega Diancie with a Ground-type attack can damage opposing Steel-types and Red Orb Groudon, Sludge Bomb Mega Gengar can deal massive damage to Mega Audino, and Mold Breaker Pursuit users can trap and KO Sturdy Shedinja.
* Electric Terrain support is very useful for Zekrom, because not only does it strengthen Zekrom's Electric-type attacks, but it also displaces existing Psychic Terrain, allowing Zekrom to freely use Extreme Speed. The sleep immunity it provides helps Zekrom set up more easily, too.

[SET]
name: Wallbreaker
move 1: Bolt Strike
move 2: Draco Meteor / Judgment
move 3: Shore Up / Sunsteel Strike / Taunt
move 4: Shell Smash
item: Dragonium Z / Draco Plate

nature: Naughty
evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Bolt Strike is incredibly powerful in Electric Terrain, being able to OHKO foes such as Mega Audino after a boost.
* Draco Meteor is very powerful after a Shell Smash, and it helps Zekrom beat Dragon-types like Giratina.
* Judgment in conjunction with a Draco Plate enables Zekrom to imposter-proof itself by giving it a plate-boosted attack to hit the Imposter super effectively while taking advantage of Imposter users' tendency to not hold plates of their own.
* Shore Up gives Zekrom much-needed longevity, allowing it to keep fighting even when hit by strong attacks. It can potentially allow Imposter users to recover and force out Zekrom if it isn't running Draco Plate Judgment, however.
* Sunsteel Strike instantly KOs Sturdy Shedinja but has no application outside of this. It is only useful on teams that desperately need a way to beat Shedinja.
* Taunt helps Zekrom against defensive foes such as Prankster Haze Registeel and Fur Coat Chansey by cutting off their recovery and making them unable to negate Zekrom's boosts except through Spectral Thief.
* Shell Smash increases Zekrom's attacking stats and Speed by two stages, helping it against faster foes like Regigigas and Mega Mewtwo Y, but leaves it vulnerable to Spectral Thief and Core Enforcer.

Set Details
========

* Draco Plate makes Judgment into a Dragon-type move for only a Pokemon holding it, meaning that Zekrom can boost its stats without fearing opposing Imposter users.
* Dragonium Z helps Zekrom beat troublesome foes such as Mega Steelix, Ferrothorn, and Dialga at +2 with Z-Draco Meteor. The former two need some chip damage to KO, however.
* Terrain Extender gives Zekrom a more supportive role by increasing the duration of Electric Terrain, allowing teammates such as Surge Surfer users to have more turns to break. Despite losing the benefits of its other items by choosing Terrain Extender, Zekrom's Electric-type attacks are still very powerful thanks to Electric Terrain. Terrain Extender Zekrom struggles to break entire teams without other items to support it, so it should only be considered on Electric Surge teams.
* Electric Surge changes the terrain to Electric Terrain upon switching in. This has many benefits for Zekrom: it boosts Zekrom's STAB Electric-type moves by 50%, it prevents foes from putting Zekrom to sleep with Spore, and it replaces existing Psychic or Misty Terrain, preventing foes like Mega Mewtwo Y locked into Psystrike from threatening your team and Giratina from taking Zekrom's Dragon-type moves.
* Adaptability doesn't give Zekrom the same benefits as Electric Surge, but the 33% boost it gives to Zekrom's Dragon-type moves is very useful.
* A Naive nature is used to outspeed Pokemon with base 90 Speed and a neutral nature, like Giratina, while making opposing Imposter users weaker to Judgment.

Usage Tips
========

* Try to get Zekrom in using a slow pivot, as it can easily be forced out by a faster opposing Pokemon.
* This set is very prediction reliant, because most teams have a Pokemon immune to Dragon or Electric, such as Zygarde-C or Mega Audino. However, these Pokemon usually take tons of damage from Zekrom's other attack.
* Keep in mind that Zekrom loses a lot of its power if Electric Terrain runs out or is displaced.

Team Options
========

* If Zekrom is not holding a Draco Plate, a Pokemon such as Unaware Ferrothorn, Sturdy Shedinja, Volt Absorb Mega Audino, or Mega Steelix is needed to imposter-proof it.
* Pokemon like Celesteela and Mega Audino are useful for switching in on strong super effective attacks that force out Zekrom, including Core Enforcer, Pixilate Boomburst, and Precipice Blades.
* Refrigerate Kyurem-B is a good partner for Zekrom, because it appreciates Psychic Terrain being gone and the useful boost to its Electric-type coverage, allowing it to threaten Steel-types without a specific coverage move for them. In return, Kyurem-B can force out problematic foes such as Mega Steelix and Normalize Mega Gengar.
* Surge Surfer users like Xurkitree can take advantage of the Electric Terrain set by Zekrom. However, they stack a Ground-type weakness and both are susceptible to Core Enforcer.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* A fully physical set utilizing an ability such as Tough Claws can be useful; however, it's walled by foes such as Fur Coat Giratina unless it has adequate hazard support.
* Galvanize sets can utilize Fake Out to chip foes such as Mega Mewtwo Y and KO them in the long run. However, the move's power is underwhelming.
* Zekrom makes a good Surge Surfer user because of its impressive offensive typing. It can utilize items like Dragonium Z to instantly KO foes like Giratina after a bit of chip damage. However, this set requires dedicated Electric Surge support and restricts teambuilding.
* Sheer Force Zekrom is a potentially powerful set, but it relies on the inaccurate Dragon Rush for a physical Dragon-type STAB move.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Ground-types**: Red Orb Groudon, Mega Steelix, and Mega Swampert can take even a +2 Draco Plate Judgment from Zekrom and OHKO it in return. They need to watch out for Z-Draco Meteor, though.

**Steel-types Resistant to Electric**: Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Dialga and Mega Steelix can wall most variants of Zekrom, only fearing Draco Meteor or Devastating Drake from Adaptability sets. Dialga in particular can hit it super effectively in return with a Dragon-type STAB move.

**Shedinja**: Shedinja can completely wall almost all variants of Zekrom, only losing to the uncommon Sunsteel Strike.

**Faster Offensive Pokemon**: Mega Diancie and Choice Specs Mega Mewtwo Y can threaten to OHKO Zekrom. They can potentially be picked off by Galvanize Extreme Speed if weakened, though.

**Fur Coat Users**: Fur Coat users like Arceus can check Zekrom decently well by taking Galvanize Extreme Speed and Bolt Strike well. However, they need to watch out for Zekrom's Judgment and Boomburst attacks.

[OVERVIEW]

* Zekrom has a niche in the Balanced Hackmons metagame as one of the most viable Galvanize users.
go further: say that zekrom is arguably the most viable electric type in bh
* Additionally, its STAB moves grant very good coverage, largely removing the need for secondary coverage moves.
* However, Zekrom has a low base Special Attack of 120, meaning that its Galvanize Boomburst is relatively weak.
* Although Dragon/Electric is a good offensive typing, it leaves Zekrom weak to common moves like Core Enforcer and Thousand Arrows.
* A mediocre base Speed of 90 leaves Zekrom outsped by many offensive threats, such as Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Rayquaza.
mention that zekrom faces a lot of competition from other more powerful wallbreakers. also probably worth mentioning its useful resists to flying, steel and water and how that lets it check mons like aerilate/triage ray and ogre. also say something about how zek can easily beat imposter

* Boomburst helps Zekrom overcome Fur Coat users such as Primal Kyogre. Galvanize makes it an Electric-type move. boomburst is also just zekroms strongest move in general, its useful against more than just fur coat
* Shell Smash sharply boosts Zekrom's Attack, Special Attack, and Speed, turning it into a fearsome sweeper.

Set Details
========

* A Lonely nature helps increase Zekrom's damage output with Extreme Speed while making it less vulnerable to the common Core Enforcer. Mild is another option to boost Zekrom's Boomburst and Judgment.
* With the Draco Plate item, Zekrom's Judgment is Dragon-type.

consider slashing mild on the set itself

Usage Tips
========

* Keep in mind that Zekrom's Extreme Speed is a useful tool to have; for instance, it can easily pick off a weakened Mega Mewtwo Y.
* Core Enforcer is Zekrom's biggest weakness, as not only is Zekrom weak to the move, but its Galvanize ability is also suppressed. Keep Zekrom away from Core Enforcer users.

mention that players should be wary of spectral thief while setting up, its good to scout for it first

Team Options

* Electric Terrain support is very useful for Zekrom, because not only does it strengthen Zekrom's Electric-type attacks, but it also displaces existing Psychic Terrain, allowing Zekrom to freely use Extreme Speed.
* Fairy-types such as Mega Audino and Mega Diancie can take Core Enforcers aimed at Zekrom and pivot it into battle or break walls, respectively. In return, Zekrom can switch in on resisted Sunsteel Strikes.
* Physically defensive Water-types, including Fur Coat Primal Kyogre and Mega Slowbro, can switch into the threatening Primal Groudon without stacking a Core Enforcer weakness.
* Imposter Chansey can scout for threatening moves on opposing Pokemon.

add mons that lure in zekroms checks: ground coverage diancie to lure pdon and steels, sludge gengar to lure maudino, moldy pursuit to take out shed etc

cut charge/growth, both are too niche. same for transform. im kinda 50/50 on leech seed, consider cutting that too

slash volt switch and maybe sunsteel strike on here somewhere

Moves
========

* Bolt Strike is incredibly powerful in Electric Terrain, being able to OHKO foes such as Mega Audino after a boost.
* Core Enforcer is a useful secondary STAB move that can help against foes like RegenVest Giratina, Poison Heal Regigigas, Sturdy Shedinja, and Fur Coat Primal Kyogre.
* Judgment in conjunction with a Draco Plate enables Zekrom to imposter-proof itself. explain how this beats imposter
* Shore Up gives Zekrom much-needed longevity, allowing it to keep fighting even when hit by Core Enforcer. dont specify core enforcer here, thats not the only move that zekrom could be hit by. shore lets zek take on mons like ogre/ray more consistently. also explain why shore up instead of a different recovery move
* Leech Seed is useful to pressure Imposter users and keep Zekrom healthy. also hits shedinja
* Transform is another recovery option on Draco Plate sets, letting Zekrom restore its HP by transforming into a defensive Pokemon with a recovery move. cut
* Charge raises Zekrom's Special Defense and increases the power of Bolt Strike. However, it doesn't stack when used multiple times.cut
* Growth raises the power of all of Zekrom's attacks. However, it only gives a +1 boost.cut
* Shell Smash increases Zekrom's attacking stats and Speed by two stages, but leaves it vulnerable to Spectral Thief and Core Enforcer.

Set Details
========

* A Life Orb can be used to make Zekrom's Bolt Strike more powerful in comparison to Draco Plate.
* Draco Plate makes Judgment into a Dragon-type move for only a Pokemon holding it, meaning that Zekrom can boost its stats without fearing opposing Imposter users.
* A Naughty nature is used to give Zekrom a better matchup against Poison Heal Regigigas by allowing it to take Facade better. If your team already has a solid Regigigas check, Lonely can be used instead to reduce the damage Zekrom takes from Core Enforcer.
explain why electric surge: boosts elec moves, immune to sleep, replaces psychic terrain

Usage Tips
========

========

* If Zekrom is not holding a Draco Plate, a Pokemon such as Misty Surge Giratina, Volt Absorb Mega Audino, or Unaware Ferrothorn is needed to imposter-proof it. misty tina cant really switch in reliably if zek is at +2 and core enforcer makes unaware ferro unreliable. mention mega steelix
* Pokemon like RegenVest Solgaleo are useful for handling the faster Pokemon that force out Zekrom. not sure about this as many of the mons that force out zek also beat solg. perhaps something more general here about having mons to switch into the fairy/dragon/ground moves that scare out zek
* Be aware that many foes can take advantage of forcing out Zekrom by setting up, so a setup check like Prankster Haze Celesteela is a useful partner. this could apply to just about any slow mon in bh, i think you should cut this

mention mons that benefit from the electric surge i.e prio users that dont like psychic terrain, mons with elec moves, surge surfer mons, mons that dont like getting spored

again, mention mons that can lure in zeks checks
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* A Poison Heal set is somewhat viable but struggles against Core Enforcer, effectively taking a massive hit from the move due to the added poison damage.
* A fully physical set utilizing an ability such as Tough Claws can be useful; however, it's walled by foes such as Fur Coat Giratina.
* Galvanize sets can utilize Fake Out to chip foes such as Mega Mewtwo Y and KO them in the long run. However, the move's power is underwhelming.
surge surfer, adaptability, sheer force maybe, water coverage for pdon and lix

Checks and Counters
===================

**Primal Groudon**: Primal Groudon can take even a +2 Draco Plate Judgment from Zekrom and OHKO it in return. maybe expand this to 'bulky grounds' and include mons like mega pert

**Steel-types Resistant to Electric**: Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Dialga and Mega Steelix can wall most variants of Zekrom. Dialga in particular can hit it super effectively in return with a Dragon-type STAB move.

**Shedinja**: Shedinja can completely wall almost all variants of Zekrom, only losing to the extremely uncommon Sunsteel Strike. this is not the only way that zek can hurt it: instead say that zek can beat it by running niche coverage options It is forced out if Zekrom hits it with Core Enforcer on the switch, however.

add a section for 'faster offensive mons' or similar and include stuff like diancie and ray that outspeed and force zek out

maybe add a section for fur coat
good stuff overall

I have unknown reason to AM QC every BH analysis so allow me to bother you

* Overview
- The Galvanize set is also very easy to Imposterproof due to Zekrom resisting Electric-type moves (1/4)
- 120 Special Attack is usable for mixed wallbreaker so I would say "120 Sp.Atk, while usable to take down walls along with its high Attack stat, is quite disappointing compared to the rest of the meta."

* Galvanize
- Consider adding Sunsteel Strike, it lets you smack Unaware Audino while hitting Shedinja. Still imposterproofed due to Zekrom resisting Sunsteel
- If both Lonely and Mild nature are possible options you can put a slash and make it Lonely / Mild nature since you explain both

* Usage Tips
- As MAMP said watch out for Spectral Thief and also watch out for Core Enforcer since it is a free switch-in for Imposter afterwards
- Make sure the likes of Giratina and Zygarde-C are sufficiently weakened to range of being OHKO'd by +2 Judgment prior to setting up Shell Smash because Giratina will use Core / Spectral, Zyggy will use 1k waves / Core / Spectral, etc etc

* Team Options
- Make sure you take out AV users by using choiced wallbreakers like rayquaza or acquiring knock off support from the likes of mega gyarados and yveltal
- -ate switch-in
- 1K arrows switch-in
- Knock Off switch-in (or just say Imposter has to scout this)

* Electric Surge
- Mention how unboosted Bolt Strike 2HKOs the likes of Registeel, Solgaleo, Mega Audino and others
- Transform and Charge: As I mentioned last night this analysis is for beginners and therefore have standard sets, not everyone looking at this analysis will have your level of creativity
- Mention how Life Orb guarantees 2HKO on Zygarde-C
- I am not sure how Zekrom will do against Imposter because your Imposter's Judgment will be Normal type and it will do a lot
- I am personally a huge fan of Soak because it pressures the opposing team really hard once they can't make Imposter -> Electric resist cycle shenanigans, but this is up to you and QC
- I also favor Volt Switch because it does considerable chunk to rare FC users like Mega Audino while keeping momentum and stuff but Zekrom usually can't find a moveslot for such move without sacrificing other utility so consider adding this in OO if you'd like.
- Core Enforcer also nullifies occasional Volt Absorb lures but I am not sure if this should be specifically mentioned, leaving this to you / QC
- I don't think Judgment 3HKOs Imposter so if it has Shore Up Imposter can just sit there and spam recovery, not sure if that set is the most optimal, but I am willing to be persuaded

* Team Options
- Mention something that can break Mega Audino + Zygarde-C which is the most cancerous core for Zekrom to deal with by using Mega ray / diancie / or even kyurem
- Also mention something that can deal with bulky Ground-types such as swampert / steelix, special wallbreakers will mostly do the job
- Mention allies that appreciate Zekrom's ability to pressure Solg / Regi / Aud

* Checks and Counters
- As MAMP said Pdon -> Ground-types
- Shedinja: Maybe add the fact that Zekrom has to run a move that is dedicated to hit Shedinja which often ends up reducing utility against other opponents
- Offensive presence: Both Mewtwo megas, Mega Rayquaza, Diancie can all force out Zekrom but they can never switch in safely
- I am not sure how to word this but I fee like there should be a section where there are walls that can exploit Zekrom's mediocre offensive stats, and this is probably where FC Audino or possibly FC Chansey comes in

[OVERVIEW]

* Zekrom has a niche in the Balanced Hackmons metagame as one of the most viable Galvanize users.
* Thanks to its impressive Attack stat, it is arguably the best Electric-type in Balanced Hackmons.
Its not only because of its Attack, but also that it can threaten Imposter with Plate thanks to its typing in conjunction with Galvanize. Also it being an Electric-type that can deal with the defensive Dragons is also really huge.
* Additionally, its STAB moves grant very good coverage, largely removing the need for secondary coverage moves.
* Useful resistances to strong offensive types like Flying and Water mean that Zekrom has a good matchup against many offensive threats, including Mega Rayquaza and Primal Kyogre.
* However, Zekrom has a low base Special Attack of 120, meaning that its Galvanize Boomburst is weak compared to other -ate users.
Its actually enough for a mixed wallbreaker, since at +2 it has enough power to muscle through checks such as Mega Swampert and Giratina with Draco Plate.
* Zekrom faces competition from many other wallbreakers, such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y.
Expand this a bit, say that its low speed is mainly its biggest drawback, making it easier to revenge kill. Examples of wallbreakers you should include are PsySurge MMY, Aerilate Mega Ray and Mega Diancie.
* Although Dragon/Electric is a good offensive typing, it leaves Zekrom weak to common moves like Core Enforcer and Thousand Arrows.
Also mention weaknesses to common offensive coverage in Fairy, Ice, and Ground in general.
* A mediocre base Speed of 90 leaves Zekrom outsped by many offensive threats, such as Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Rayquaza.
^Merge with above point

Moves
========
* Extreme Speed is useful to revenge kill boosted opponents such as Poison Heal Primal Kyogre. It also serves as a reliable physical STAB move thanks to Galvanize. If Zekrom has set up Shell Smash, it can use Extreme Speed to damage and potentially KO Prankster Haze users like Registeel due to its +2 priority.
Can also mention that it threatens Specs Mega Ray and Normalize Gar
* Judgment in combination with Draco Plate gives Zekrom a strong Dragon-type attack. Since opposing Imposters rarely carry their own Draco Plate, the move makes Zekrom imposter-proof. Additionally, the move grants Zekrom a super effective attack against the many Dragon-types in the metagame.
* Boomburst helps Zekrom overcome Fur Coat users such as Primal Kyogre. Galvanize makes it an Electric-type move.
* Shell Smash sharply boosts Zekrom's Attack, Special Attack, and Speed, turning it into a fearsome sweeper.

Set Details
========

* A Lonely nature helps increase Zekrom's damage output with Extreme Speed while making it less vulnerable to the common Core Enforcer. Mild is another option to boost Zekrom's Boomburst and Judgment.
Also mention a point on Naive, so it can at least tie with other max speed base 90s

Usage Tips
========

* Keep in mind that Zekrom's Extreme Speed is a useful tool to have; for instance, it can easily pick off a weakened Mega Mewtwo Y.
Thats not under the effects of Psychic Surge. Just mention that it can pick off faster threats that have been weakened.
* Core Enforcer is Zekrom's biggest weakness, as not only is Zekrom weak to the move, but its Galvanize ability is also suppressed. Keep Zekrom away from Core Enforcer users.
* Shell Smash can be used to more easily help Zekrom break teams. Without a boost, Zekrom is prediction reliant; however, with a boost, it can OHKO most threatening foes.
* When attempting to set up Shell Smash, be wary of foes with Spectral Thief, because they can prevent Zekrom from sweeping.
Also emphasize that Zekrom should only be really setting up once its checks (like Dialga and Mega Swampert have been weakened)

Team Options

========

* Electric Terrain support is very useful for Zekrom, because not only does it strengthen Zekrom's Electric-type attacks, but it also displaces existing Psychic Terrain, allowing Zekrom to freely use Extreme Speed.
I would move this more to the bottom, not widely seen and hard to build around properly.
* Pokemon that can lure in and KO checks to Zekrom make good teammates. Mega Diancie with a Ground-type attack can damage opposing Steel-types and Primal Groudon, Sludge Bomb Gengar can deal massive damage to Mega Audino, and Mold Breaker Pursuit users can trap and KO Sturdy Shedinja.

* Leech Seed is useful to pressure Imposter users and keep Zekrom healthy. It provides much less health than Shore Up, however.
* Sunsteel Strike instantly KOs Sturdy Shedinja but has no application outside of this.
Also mention that Leech + Sunsteel on the same set is kinda redundant though
* Volt Switch deals decent damage and switches Zekrom out. However, Ground-types like Zygarde-C can switch in and block the move.
* Shell Smash increases Zekrom's attacking stats and Speed by two stages, but leaves it vulnerable to Spectral Thief and Core Enforcer.

Set Details
========

Slash Plate first, makes Zekrom more difficult to properly handle. Then fix Judg / Core slashing accordingly.
* A Life Orb can be used to make Zekrom's Bolt Strike more powerful in comparison to Draco Plate. However, the recoil induced by it makes it a risky choice.
* Draco Plate makes Judgment into a Dragon-type move for only a Pokemon holding it, meaning that Zekrom can boost its stats without fearing opposing Imposter users.
Remove slash and just keep this here in mentions
* Electric Surge changes the terrain to Electric Terrain upon switching in. This has many benefits for Zekrom: it boosts Zekrom's STAB Electric-type moves by 50%, it prevents foes from putting Zekrom to sleep with Spore, and it replaces existing Psychic or Misty Terrain, preventing foes like Mega Mewtwo Y locked into Psystrike from threatening your team and Giratina from taking Zekrom's Dragon-type moves.
* A Naughty nature is used to give Zekrom a better matchup against Poison Heal Regigigas by allowing it to take Facade better. If your team already has a solid Regigigas check, Lonely can be used instead to reduce the damage Zekrom takes from Core Enforcer.

Usage Tips
========

* Try to get Zekrom in using a slow pivot, as it can easily be forced out by a faster opposing Pokemon.
And has a hard time swithcin in against offensive threats in general
* This set is very prediction reliant, because most teams have a Pokemon immune to Dragon or Electric, such as Zygarde-C or Mega Audino. However, these Pokemon usually take tons of damage from Zekrom's other attack.
* Keep in mind that Zekrom loses a lot of its power if Electric Terrain runs out or is displaced.
Also can say that this set can switchin to Sleep Users pretty freely, potentially giving Zekrom free switchin opportunities.

Team Options
========

* If Zekrom is not holding a Draco Plate, a Pokemon such as Misty Surge Giratina, Volt Absorb Mega Audino, or Mega Steelix is needed to imposter-proof it.
* Pokemon like Celesteela and Mega Audino are useful for switching in on strong super effective attacks that force out Zekrom.
* Refrigerate Kyurem-B is a good partner for Zekrom, because it appreciates Psychic Terrain being gone and the useful boost to its Electric-type coverage, allowing it to threaten Steel-types without a specific coverage move for them. In return, Kyurem-B can force out problematic foes such as Mega Steelix and Misty Surge Giratina.
* Surge Surfer users like Xurkitree can take advantage of the Electric Terrain set by Zekrom. However, they stack a Ground-type weakness and both are susceptible to Core Enforcer.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* A Poison Heal set is somewhat viable but struggles against Core Enforcer, effectively taking a massive hit from the move due to the added poison damage.
Just cause of Core I dont really think this set is worth mentioning at all
* A fully physical set utilizing an ability such as Tough Claws can be useful; however, it's walled by foes such as Fur Coat Giratina unless it has adequate hazard support.
* Galvanize sets can utilize Fake Out to chip foes such as Mega Mewtwo Y and KO them in the long run. However, the move's power is underwhelming.
* Electric Surge Zekrom can utilize niche moves such as Growth, Charge, and Transform to take the role of a "bulky booster". These leave it forced out by faster foes, though.
Yeh no
* Zekrom makes a good Surge Surfer user because of its impressive offensive typing. It can utilize items like Dragonium Z to instantly KO foes like Giratina after a bit of chip damage.
Mention that it is much harder to build around however.
* Adaptability is a good choice on Zekrom because of the helpful boost it gives to both of Zekrom's STAB moves. However, Zekrom is somewhat outclassed in this role by Pokemon like Mega Garchomp.
* Sheer Force Zekrom is a potentially powerful set, but it relies on the inaccurate Dragon Rush for a physical STAB move.
* Steam Eruption can be used to deal lots of damage to foes like Primal Groudon and Mega Steelix, but the move has little benefit outside of this.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Ground-types**: Primal Groudon and Mega Swampert can take even a +2 Draco Plate Judgment from Zekrom and OHKO it in return.

**Steel-types Resistant to Electric**: Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Dialga and Mega Steelix can wall most variants of Zekrom. Dialga in particular can hit it super effectively in return with a Dragon-type STAB move.

**Shedinja**: Shedinja can completely wall almost all variants of Zekrom, only losing to uncommon coverage moves. It is forced out if Zekrom hits it with Core Enforcer on the switch, however.

However, they need to watch out for Zekrom's Judgment attack. Additionally, their ability is removed if Zekrom hits them on the switch with Core Enforcer, forcing them out.
Remove mentions of Primal Groudon since that is probably getting banned soon (although you can mention Red Orb Don still)

To update on this, Judgement no longer gets affected by Galvanize meaning that Zekrom will have a harder time dealing with Imposter, You can still keep the same set, but make this change more clear in the analyses.

[OVERVIEW]
* Zekrom has a niche in the Balanced Hackmons metagame as one of the most viable Galvanize users.
* Thanks in part to its impressive Attack stat, it is arguably the best Electric-type in Balanced Hackmons.
* Additionally, its STAB moves grant very good coverage, largely removing the need for secondary coverage moves. mention how since its combined stab coverage is so unique and strong, defensive cores can struggle to handle it
* Useful resistances to strong offensive types like Flying and Water mean that Zekrom has a good matchup against many offensive threats, including Mega Rayquaza and Primal Kyogre.
* A mediocre base Speed of 90 leaves Zekrom outsped by many offensive threats, such as Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Rayquaza.

Moves
========
* Boomburst helps Zekrom overcome Fur Coat users such as Primal Kyogre, and is Zekrom's strongest attack overall. Galvanize makes it an Electric-type move. (audino > kyogre in terms of a FC example, ogre takes a ton of damage anyway. also u dont need to mention tht galv turns it into an electric move, that much is already obvious)
* Judgment in combination with Draco Plate gives Zekrom a strong Dragon-type attack. Since opposing Imposters rarely carry their own Draco Plate, the move makes Zekrom imposter-proof. (briefly elaborate on this for those unfamiliar, eg "as imposter is unable to damage zekrom & zekrom can do a lot in return" or something) Additionally, the move grants Zekrom a super effective attack against the many Dragon-types in the metagame (such as giratina and zygarde-c).

Set Details
========

* A Lonely nature helps increase Zekrom's damage output with Extreme Speed while making it less vulnerable to the common Core Enforcer. Mild is another option to boost Zekrom's Boomburst and Judgment. Naive can be used to increase Zekrom's Speed stat, allowing it to move before neutral nature base 90s. unless u can prove that the +atk and +spa natures actually result in relevant OHKOs u cant get by running naive its not worth mentioning. also naive is better cos it makes imposter weaker to ur +2 judgment, having a good chance of OHKOing from full, guaranteed after rocks. this is important since imposter's normal judgment chunks u for 70% now.

Usage Tips
========

Without a boost, Zekrom is prediction reliant; however, with a boost, it can OHKO most threatening foes. like?
* When attempting to set up Shell Smash, be wary of foes with Spectral Thief, because they can prevent Zekrom from sweeping. this is doubly bad cos u might get swept in return.
* Additionally, make sure threats such as Giratina and Mega Swampert are in range of +2 Judgment before trying to sweep.

Team Options

========

* Fairy-types such as Mega Audino and Mega Diancie can take Core Enforcers aimed at Zekrom and pivot it into battle or break walls, respectively. In return, Zekrom can switch in on resisted Sunsteel Strikes. pivot it into battle? what does that mean
* Knock Off support on Pokemon like Mega Mewtwo Y can be useful to remove opposing Assault Vests, allowing Zekrom to hit the holders harder.
* Imposter Chansey can scout for threatening moves on opposing Pokemon.like core enforcer or taunt or w/e
* Pokemon that can lure in and KO checks to Zekrom make good teammates. Mega Diancie with a Ground-type attack can damage opposing Steel-types and Primal Groudon, Sludge Bomb Mega Gengar can deal massive damage to Mega Audino, and Mold Breaker Pursuit users can trap and KO Sturdy Shedinja.
* Electric Terrain support is very useful for Zekrom, because not only does it strengthen Zekrom's Electric-type attacks, but it also displaces existing Psychic Terrain, allowing Zekrom to freely use Extreme Speed. immunity to (priority) sleep is also great for set up opportunities

some changes: steel strike + leech seed in different sets is redundant. the first two slots are your main stab attacks, the third slot is for utility, the 4th slot is smash cos ur going to wallbreak infinitely better with that move. Taunt is slotted because its useful neutralizing most defensive counterplay (registeel and its haze, topsy turvy, et cetera) and can turn them into set up fodder. removed LO cos its increased damage is insignificant at +2 (doesn't help secure OHKOs and just puts u in range for priority). draco > core cos higher bp, core's side effect is hard to get since ur so fast and z draco is absurdly strong. it OHkos regenvest gira and big zyg as well as incinerating things like steelix (+2 252 SpA Adaptability Zekrom Devastating Drake (195 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Steelix-Mega: 299-352 (84.4 - 99.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO) and swampert (+2 252 SpA Adaptability Zekrom Devastating Drake (195 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Swampert-Mega: 594-700 (147 - 173.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO). adaptability is slashed cos ur main two moves are stab, so it makes sense. it makes ur bolt strikes slightly weaker (eg. its a roll at +2 vs non-fc audino) but ur dracos are a lot stronger (eg. 75% chance to ohko calm vest dialga, guaranteed after rocks)

Moves

* Bolt Strike is incredibly powerful in Electric Terrain, being able to OHKO foes such as Mega Audino after a boost.

* Refrigerate Kyurem-B is a good partner for Zekrom, because it appreciates Psychic Terrain being gone and the useful boost to its Electric-type coverage, allowing it to threaten Steel-types without needing a specific coverage move for them. In return, Kyurem-B can force out problematic foes such as Mega Steelix and Misty Surge Giratina. a better example would be normalize mega gengar
* Surge Surfer users like Xurkitree can take advantage of the Electric Terrain set by Zekrom. However, they stack a Ground-type weakness and both are susceptible to Core Enforcer.

Other Options
=============

* Adaptability is a good choice on Zekrom because of the helpful boost it gives to both of Zekrom's STAB moves. However, Zekrom is somewhat outclassed in this role by Pokemon like Mega Garchomp. mentioned in set 2
* Sheer Force Zekrom is a potentially powerful set, but it relies on the inaccurate Dragon Rush for a physical dragon-type STAB move. this is important for big zyg and giratina
* Steam Eruption can be used to deal lots of damage to foes like Primal Groudon and Mega Steelix, but the move has little benefit outside of this. rip pdon

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Ground-types**: Primal Groudon and Mega Swampert and mega steelix can take even a +2 Draco Plate Judgment from Zekrom and OHKO it in return. mention how they fear a z draco from the second set though

**Steel-types Resistant to Electric**: Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Dialga and Mega Steelix can wall most variants of Zekrom. Dialga in particular can hit it super effectively in return with a Dragon-type STAB move. mention how they all get evaporated by a +2 z draco

**Shedinja**: Shedinja can completely wall almost all variants of Zekrom, only losing to uncommon coverage moves. It is forced out if Zekrom hits it with Core Enforcer on the switch, however. core is no longer mentioned as a move, try sunsteel strike here instead

However, they need to watch out for Zekrom's Judgment attack. Additionally, their ability is removed if Zekrom hits them on the switch with Core Enforcer, forcing them out. mentions of core enforcer < mentions of draco meteor

implement it properly and ill approve
As much as I love Zekky I have some questions about this

* Zekrom has a niche in the Balanced Hackmons metagame as one of the most viable Galvanize users.
* Thanks in part to its impressive Attack stat, it is arguably the best Electric-type in Balanced Hackmons.
Can't this be merged into a single bullet points?

* Although Dragon/Electric is a good offensive typing, it leaves Zekrom weak to common types like Dragon, Ground, and Fairy.
Also this guy is another Pokemon with depressing weakness to -ate users

nature: Lonely / Mild / Naive pick one my guy [hint its naive]
+2 252 SpA Galvanize Zekrom Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 361-426 (86.7 - 102.4%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO
+2 252+ SpA Galvanize Zekrom Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 396-466 (95.1 - 112%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO

I think it is worth mentioning Mild too

* Icicle Plate can be used instead to OHKO Mega Rayquaza at +0 and Zygarde-C at +2, which Draco Plate cannot accomplish. However, the power difference is noticeable.
Also missing out OHKO on Giratina really hurts imo

* Pokemon that can lure in and KO checks to Zekrom make good teammates. Mega Diancie with a Ground-type attack can damage opposing Steel-types and Primal Groudon, Sludge Bomb Mega Gengar can deal massive damage to Mega Audino, and Mold Breaker Pursuit users can trap and KO Sturdy Shedinja.
Zekrom's worst enemies are Unaware Mega Aud, Swampert, Steelix / Swampert, and -ate users imo. Unless Zekrom is used as early breaker, -ate should be removed first before Zekrom can do the cleaning. Audino kinda hates switching to Mild Zekrom's Boomburst bc it has a roll to kill after rocks but I guess it should also be weakened

----

Also I think all-out-attacker for Electric Surge set is worth imo - it has a lot more immediaet power. Life Orb + Core Enforcer 2HKO Zyggy and stuff so I'd say that can fit in Other Options?

Feel free to implement if you agree with any of these idk

I think it is worth mentioning Mild too really not worth missing out on 306 speed, especially since that one kill isnt even guaranteed. initial speed is important

* Icicle Plate can be used instead to OHKO Mega Rayquaza at +0 and Zygarde-C at +2, which Draco Plate cannot accomplish. However, the power difference is noticeable.

Feel free to implement if you agree with any of these idk

more stuff
implemented most of this. something to note is that in practice i've found lo core to be a lot more reliable than draco because you can actually beat guys that would normally wall you like shed, miscellaneous fc (weird stuff like registeel), and regen vest giratina. also draco doesn't actually 2hko zyg with the power drop. zekrom is really good when you can just stay in with it and click buttons

OK, firstly Core Enforcer is by no means a reliable Shedinja answer. Secondly like I said in my post RegenVest Giratina is OHKO'd at +2. These are not convincing arguments to warrant mentioning Core Enforcer.

Having said that, after having read the OP for about a minute it's clear that you've not implemented much of what I said. I'd like to remind you that you're not free to pick and choose which points you implement and which you ignore. Having to tell people this continuously is a big waste of my time. I'd recommend you just implement what I've asked you to implement and we can be done here.

what i meant was that it prevents shed from walling you consistently, not that it's all your team needs to hit shed

as for the implementation that's my fault, sorry. i didn't bother to scroll up and look at the stuff you actually said, i thought rng's post was the qc check that you stamped fsr. i'll get to the other stuff and let you know when it's implemented

RNGIsFatal

Banned deucer.
I keep peeking into other people's business lolz

As a person who faced / used both Zekky sets you have mentioned, each sets have their own strength. And I agree Core Enforcer may have something other Z-Draco Meteor set by hurting Sturdy Shedinja or Unaware, Shedinja can just switch out and come back in over and over again until you mispredict, and most likely you will attempt to set up with Zekrom with Stealth Rock up because the hazard itself secures a whole bunch of benchmarks when trying to KO 'mons with boosted Bolt Strike or Devastating Drake, meaning running Core Enforcer just to hit Sturdy Shedinja while missing out a tons of KO's is not something I would say is worth. Also Regenvest Giratina won't switch into Zekrom in the first place when it is greately threatened by Dragon-STAB moves when the role compression it offers forces it to remain healthy to check other threats.

That said, I do not believe a set is inferior to the other; QC teams have obligations to make the analysis as close to standard as possible, meaning they should include the most consistent / common sets as main sets. Core Enforcer, imo, can definitely fit in Other Options due to the ability nullification that Draco Meteor does not offer. That's all I can say.

u havent changed the second set properly

* describe taunt here (still need to do this)

the following bullet points still need changing:

* Fairy-types such as Mega Audino and Mega Diancie can take Core Enforcers aimed at Zekrom and pivot it into battle with U-turn or break walls, respectively. In return, Zekrom can switch in on resisted Sunsteel Strikes.

* Adaptability is a good choice on Zekrom because of the helpful boost it gives to both of Zekrom's STAB moves. However, Zekrom is somewhat outclassed in this role by Pokemon like Mega Garchomp.
